SUMMER  CLASSES - The Music of County Clare
I've been teaching these tune learning classes for many years. The classes have two main goals... building a repertoire of good Irish session tunes, and improving at learning and playing by ear. We do it by learning one or two tunes each week, by ear, with lots of repetition. No written music is used.

Class 1 - Tuesdays, July 7-28, 7pm Eastern (4pm Pacific)

These classes are only melody, we won't be getting into chords or accompaniment. The tunes will be taught by ear, with lots of repetition... we won't be using written music.

PRIVATE LESSONS on Irish fiddle – I teach private lessons on Zoom or at my place in northeast Olympia on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

These are 55-minute lessons focusing on bowing, phrasing, ornaments, etc... how to make music out of all those notes. You can take a one-time lesson or sign up for more.

Cost is $60 per 55-minute lesson.
